Russia is ready to hunt a diplomatic resolution to the disaster in Ukraine however Kiev and its backers within the US and NATO refuse to speak to Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated.
“All variations should be solved on the negotiating desk,” Putin instructed African leaders through the Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg on Friday.
“The issue is that they [Ukraine] are refusing to speak to us,” he insisted.
The Russian chief claimed that the foundation of the battle between Moscow and Kiev was “the creation of threats to Russia’s safety by the US and NATO.”
Nonetheless, Washington and its allies additionally “reject negotiations on the problems of assuring equal safety for all sides, together with Russia,” Putin added.
