Earlier in his speech, Mr Farage described Mrs Badenoch as a “ranting conspiracy theorist” and stated: “Kemi, since you’ve been so impolite, so disagreeable, the accusations you’ve made in opposition to me are so mistaken, I promise you, we as a celebration now will put time, cash, useful resource (and) it will develop into a goal seat for us on the subsequent normal election.”
