The Techscaler programme has offered mentoring and recommendation to 387 fledgling know-how companies, with Humza Yousaf saying it had made Scotland “one of the tech start-up pleasant locations on the planet”.
The scheme, funded with £42 million of Scottish Authorities money, already has six hubs across the nation – with Mr Yousaf visiting its Stirling website on Monday – and plans to open its seventh base in Dumfries in 2023-24.
With Mr Yousaf’s first Programme for Authorities, unveiled to Holyrood final week, together with £15 million money to assist assist entrepreneurs, the First Minister careworn the significance of serving to new companies to spice up Scotland’s economic system.
