Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer raised eyebrows Thursday over a weird video of her feeding Doritos into the mouth of a liberal podcaster.
The Wolverine State governor was seen carrying a Harris-Walz camo hat whereas staring blankly into the digicam within the video, which was posted on left-wing influencer Liz Plank’s Instagram account.
The stunt was a takeoff on a TikTok meme wherein associates feed one another meals and stare uncomfortably into the digicam.
Plank tried to shoe-horn the vid into an announcement on industrial coverage — particularly the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, wherein Congress licensed billions in funding to spice up the semiconductor trade.
“If he received’t, Gretchen Whitmer will. Chips aren’t simply scrumptious, the CHIPS Act is a game-changer for U.S. tech and manufacturing, boosting home manufacturing of semiconductors to cut back reliance on international suppliers! Donald Trump would put that in danger,” Plank wrote.
