Two free horses have been seen working round central London, certainly one of which gave the impression to be coated in blood.
The animals, carrying saddles and bridles, had been seen working within the street close to Aldwych on Wednesday morning.
Photos and movies of the horses had been shared on social media, certainly one of which confirmed a black 4×4 with blue lights following the animals.
A Metropolitan police spokesperson stated: “We’re conscious of numerous horses on the free in central London.
“We’re working with colleagues within the military to find them.”
