Donald Trump has named Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former Fox Information host who has been engaged to Trump’s eldest son, to be the US ambassador to Greece.
“For a few years, Kimberly has been an in depth buddy and ally,” Trump wrote in an announcement. “Kimberly is completely suited to foster sturdy bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our pursuits on points starting from protection cooperation to commerce and financial innovation.”
Guilfoyle’s nomination would require Senate affirmation. She wrote on social media: “I’m honored to simply accept President Trump’s nomination to function the subsequent Ambassador to Greece and I look ahead to incomes the assist of the US Senate.”
