A small aircraft crashed close to Northeast Philadelphia Airport on Friday, inflicting an enormous explosion that lit up the evening sky and set a number of properties ablaze, based on experiences and video.
The aircraft reportedly went down within the space of the Roosevelt mall close to Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard simply after 6 p.m., WPVI reported.

The plane, which was carrying two passengers, prompted a big, fiery explosion that set a number of properties on fireplace, CBS reported.
A number of casualties have been reported.
Video footage captured heavy smoke within the space with particles sprawled within the car parking zone of the mall as native police and fireplace responded to the scene, based on footage captured by Fox29.

It stays unclear what led to the crash.
