Among the many CNC members might be a bishop elected by the Home of Bishops; the Archbishop of York or, if he chooses to not be a member, an extra bishop to be elected by the Home of Bishops; three representatives elected from the Diocese of Canterbury; six representatives – three clergy and three lay – elected by Normal Synod; 5 representatives from different church buildings within the Anglican Communion – one every from Africa; the Americas; Center East and Asia; Oceania and Europe.
