“You should be fantasising, a younger boy your age can’t be dwelling that sort of life.”

These are the phrases Sosa Henkoma remembers being instructed by a social employee when he was 11 years previous. He had simply instructed them {that a} gang had used him to promote medicine, and now they had been threatening to kill him.

After being abused by his stepmother, and positioned in foster care, Sosa was exploited by a drug gang who despatched him from London to Margate to promote medicine to an addict there.

As social companies weren’t going to assist him, he turned to a different gang for cover. This group would decide him up from college, take him to a forest, and educate him shoot.

“Then after that, I used to be put to work.”

Partially one, Sosa tells Annie Kelly about how he was groomed by a number of gangs, and what made him weak to exploitation.

He now trains the police, NHS and social employees on work with individuals who have skilled youngster felony exploitation. He works alongside the anti-trafficking charity Causeway.
