A small airplane crashed into the Potomac River close to Reagan Nationwide Airport in Virginia Wednesday evening, in keeping with hearth officers.
Fireboats are on the scene after the plane went down in Arlington, the DC Fireplace and EMS Division posted to X simply after 9 p.m.
Planes had been grounded and the Federal Aviation Administration shuttered the airport, WIJA reported.
Reagan Nationwide Airport will stay closed till 11 p.m., and the bottom cease is predicted to stay in impact till 10:30 p.m.
