The 74-foot, 11-ton Norway Spruce was trucked in from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
The tree is about 70 years outdated, and is the primary Rockefeller Heart tree from Massachusetts since 1959.
“It places me in such a joyful temper. I can’t wait to see it standing,” stated Piper Filiault, 20.
Filiault – who’s staying in New York for an internship for many of the holidays – is initially from Pittsfield, Massachusetts, only one city over from the place the tree grew.
“It tells me like Christmas is right here. I’m staying in New York for many of the vacation so I’m able to do all the pieces they provide,” she gushed.
“I’m coming again for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Oh my God, it’s going to really feel so magical. I’m so prepared for it.”
Bri Patel, 30, a content material creator from Flushing, bought to Rockefeller Heart at 6:30 Saturday morning simply to see the tree for the primary time.
