Report variety of pupils in England ‘severely absent’ from faculty – figures

Beth Prescott, training lead on the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), stated: “5 years on from the pandemic, the varsity absence disaster continues to tear the futures away from our youngsters with file ranges of so-called “Ghost Youngsters”, one in 4 children persistently absent, and almost half of these doing GCSEs skipping faculty.
