A 31-year-old Oregon man admitted Wednesday that he focused Jewish hospital and care facilities on Lengthy Island in a collection of “harmful” swatting and bomb menace calls, federal prosecutors mentioned.
Domagoj Patkovic pleaded responsible to federal costs of conspiracy to make threats and conveying false info and now faces as much as 15 years in jail, prosecutors mentioned in a press launch.

Based on prosecutors, Patkovic was a part of a crew of troublemakers who started making nameless threatening calls to Jewish hospitals and services on Lengthy Island in Could 2021 — and livestreamed the hoaxes on social media and digital gadgets.
The calls despatched cops scrambling to the services — and in a single case in September 2021 authorities have been compelled to evacuate and lock down a whole Lengthy Island hospital.
“The defendant himself made threats in no less than six separate calls to hospitals and on a name with native legislation enforcement who had responded to a 911 notification from one of many hospitals,” the discharge mentioned.
Patkovic, who lives in Portland, was arrested in August and hauled to New York to face the fees.
