Navy FA-18 Superhornet shot down in ‘pleasant fireplace’ incident in Crimson Sea

Two US Navy pilots have been shot down whereas flying over the Crimson Sea on Sunday in an obvious “pleasant fireplace incident,” in response to the US Navy.

Each pilots ejected from their plane and have been recovered alive after a ship within the USS Harry S. Truman Provider Strike Group mistakenly fired a missile on the F/A-18 Superhornet, the Related Press experiences.

The airplane had simply taken off from the USS Harry S. Truman plane service and was fired upon with a guided cruiser missile from the USS Gettysburg, in response to Central Command.

An evidence for the pleasant fireplace incident was not included within the assertion from Centcom.
