Musk says authorities staff who don’t reply to a second ‘what you completed’ e-mail will face ‘termination’


DOGE chief Elon Musk teased Monday that federal staff might obtain a second e-mail asking them to record their weekly accomplishments – and that failure to answer it should lead to “termination.”

An amended lawsuit filed in San Francisco federal court docket over OPM’s push to fireplace probationary federal staff cited Musk’s e-mail blast in its effort to reverse the mass terminations and claimed that the Trump administration has not adopted any of the usual procedures for dismissing staff underneath the Administrative Process Act.
