He insisted Moscow was open to “putting a negotiated settlement” to finish the battle which has left a whole lot of hundreds of Russian troopers lifeless or wounded, with excessive casualties amongst Ukraine’s armed forces, and hundreds, if not tens of hundreds, of civilians killed.
