Liberal Democrat Councillor Jonathan Oxley questioned the council on why the financial savings from the centre closures are included in funds financial savings, regardless of the proposals being out for session. He mentioned: “These treasured public belongings present essential companies to mums, dads and children, together with childcare, well being visits and nursing, midwifery and psychological well being companies… In plain phrases, Labour are privatising public companies… the session is nothing greater than a dressed up price slicing train.”
