Joe Biden has issued “a full and unconditional” pardon to son Hunter Biden protecting his son’s gun prices conviction and responsible plea, the US president defined in a press release launched by the White Home on Sunday.
The choice marks a reversal for Biden, who has repeatedly stated he wouldn’t use his government authority to pardon his son or commute his sentence.
The pardon comes prematurely of Hunter Biden’s 12 December sentencing for his conviction on federal gun prices. Hunter Biden is also scheduled to be sentenced in a separate felony case 4 days later, after pleading responsible in September on federal tax evasion prices.
