A younger Jewish man was stabbed early Saturday morning close to the Chabad Headquarters in Crown Heights by a person who yelled “Free Palestine,” in response to experiences.
The knifeman allegedly approached the sufferer round 2 a.m. close to the Jap Parkway and Kingston Avenue and shouted “Free Palestine” and “Do you need to die?” earlier than stabbing the sufferer, in response to Yaacov Behrman, a spokesperson for Chabad-Lubavitch.
The person and his attacker allegedly exchanged phrases earlier than the sufferer was stab ultimately stabbed, Behrman wrote on X.
The sufferer, a younger grownup Jewish man, was taken to the hospital and is predicted to get better, Behrman added.
Bystanders have been in a position to detain the attacker till police arrived to make an arrest, Behrman stated.
It was not instantly clear what situation the sufferer, who has “long-standing ties to the group,” was in following the stabbing.
