A Japan Airways aircraft taxiing throughout the tarmac at Seattle-Tacoma Airport Wednesday morning struck a parked Delta Airways aircraft — leaving the planes broken however no one harm, in line with reviews.
The accident occurred at 10:17 a.m., the airport introduced on X, with the taxiing aircraft’s wing putting the tail of the parked Delta aircraft because it handed.
Images from the tarmac posted by vacationers on social media confirmed the Japan Airways wing sliced midway via the Delta aircraft’s tail.
“So, we had been sitting on the tarmac at SeaTac and one other aircraft bumped into us, simply casually sliced into our tail. Very scary,” one passenger wrote on social media.
