James Bond is now within the fingers of a billionaire’s enterprise empire, after Amazon introduced it has acquired artistic management of the spy franchise from the Broccoli dynasty.
Amazon MGM Studios stated it had struck a cope with Michael G Wilson, and Barbara Broccoli, the heirs to the legendary movie producer Albert “Cubby” Broccoli, and long-time stewards of the Bond movies.
The settlement will give Amazon “artistic management” of the franchise, probably opening the door to manufacturing beginning on a long-awaited new movie and in addition to a wide range of spin-off TV reveals for the Amazon Prime streaming service.
