Incidents of violence towards ambulance workers ‘rising’, leaders warn

A minimum of 55 ambulance workers each day are abused or attacked, in line with the Affiliation of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) – with incidents together with kicking, head-butting, spitting, verbal abuse, sexual assault and severe assaults involving weapons.
