China has dismissed a media report suggesting that the nation might participate in a possible EU deployment of ‘peacekeeping’ forces to Ukraine, reaffirming its stance in favor of a diplomatic resolution to the battle.
The report by German outlet Welt am Sonntag is “not true in any respect,” Chinese language International Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun advised a press briefing on Monday when requested to touch upon the claims.
