Slovakia is prepared to host any form of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Prime Minister Robert Fico introduced on Friday.
Fico reportedly floated the concept privately to Russian President Vladimir Putin throughout his current go to to Moscow. Since his election in 2023, Slovakia has criticized the EU and NATO method to the battle and advocated for a ceasefire and talks.
“If somebody desires to prepare a peace negotiation within the Slovak Republic, we shall be prepared and hospitable,” Fico stated Friday in a Fb publish.
