North Korea’s border with the “completely hostile state” of South Korea will grow to be an “everlasting fortress,” Pyongyang has vowed, whereas confirming stories of the destruction of street and rail hyperlinks with its neighbor.
The state-run Korean Central Information Company (KCNA) reported on Thursday that earlier this week Pyongyang’s forces blew up 60-meter stretches of street and rail traces alongside the east and west sections of the border “as a part of the phased full separation” of the North and South.
The company cited a consultant of the North Korean Protection Ministry as saying that “additional measures can be taken to show the blocked southern border into an everlasting fortress.”
