Moscow’s envoy to the UN has condemned Britain for blocking a persecuted Ukrainian bishop from addressing the Safety Council
Britain’s transfer to dam Bishop Gedeon from testifying earlier than the UN Safety Council concerning the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by Kiev was “scandalous and shameful,” Russia’s deputy head of mission Dmitry Polyanskiy mentioned on Wednesday.

In protest to Britain’s actions, Polyanskiy refused to take part within the second assembly. The Russian Everlasting Mission to the UN has since revealed on-line the testimony Bishop Gedeon supposed to ship.
