FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. – A person sleeping in a hammock deep within the Cohutta Wilderness of the Chattahoochee Nationwide Forest in Georgia died Saturday when a tree fell on his campsite. 

In response to the Fannin County Emergency Administration Company, 4 males had been tenting close to Panther Creek Falls.

They had been sleeping in hammocks when a tree fell on them early Saturday morning, trapping one of many males.
