Hamas reacts to Trump victory, says he should ‘work significantly to cease the struggle’ in Gaza


The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas stated Wednesday that the incoming administration of presidential election winner Donald Trump should “work significantly to cease the struggle” within the Gaza Strip. 

The declaration comes after a report emerged claiming Trump requested Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to wrap up the battle by the point he will get inaugurated on Jan. 20 if he had received the election. Trump in the end prevailed over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Hamas additionally stated the “new US administration should understand that our Palestinian folks will proceed to withstand the hateful [Israeli] occupation and won’t settle for any path that detracts from their official rights to freedom, independence, self-determination, and the institution of their unbiased Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
