A former Miss Kansas contestant and lawyer Kiah Duggins has been named as one of many victims of the flight from Wichita, Kan. that crashed into the Potomac on Wednesday evening.
Duggins was flying into DC as she was “getting ready to be a legislation professor at Howard College within the fall,” her former pageant director, Larry Sturdy, stated in a submit to Fb.
“It’s with heavy coronary heart that the Miss Augusta and Miss Butler County group simply realized that Kiah Duggins Miss Butler County 2014 [and] 2015 was a passenger within the aircraft that crashed final night in Washington DC,” he wrote. “Preserve the remainder of the household in your ideas and prayers at this troublesome time.”
“Kiah was high 10 finalist in 2014 and 2015 on the Miss Kansas Pageant.”
