Dozens of scholars walked out of a graduation ceremony on Sunday at Duke College, North Carolina, to protest towards the presence of the comic Jerry Seinfeld, who has supported Israel all through the conflict in Gaza.
Figures in robes and caps, some waving Palestinian flags, filed out of the ceremony held on the grass within the college’s soccer stadium, and several other individuals left the viewing stands. Others within the crowd shouted, “Jerry! Jerry!” because the actor obtained an honorary diploma. Seinfeld delivered his speech with out main interruptions
