Columbus Blue Jackets’ Johnny Gaudreau and brother die in ‘unimaginable tragedy’

Columbus Blue Jackets winger Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew have died in what the crew known as an “unimaginable tragedy”. Johnny Gaudreau was 31 and Matthew was 29.

The Blue Jackets didn’t disclose particulars of how the brothers died in a press release Friday on social media.

“Johnny performed the sport with nice pleasure which was felt by everybody that noticed him on the ice,” the assertion learn. “He introduced a real love for hockey with him in every single place he performed from Boston Faculty to the Calgary Flames to Workforce USA to the Blue Jackets. He thrilled followers in a manner solely Johnny Hockey might. The influence he had on our group and our sport was profound, however pales compared to the indelible impression he made on everybody who knew him.”

Gaudreau performed in 11 skilled seasons for the Flames and Blue Jackets.
