The CCRC, which investigates miscarriages of justice, has referred Mr De Souza’s conviction for tried theft to the Courtroom of Enchantment, after his co-defendants, Paul Inexperienced, Courtney Harriot, Cleveland Davidson and Texo Johnson, had their names cleared in 2021.
