Army police from one hundred and first Airborne Division ‘Screaming Eagles’ head to frame to assist Trump’s crackdown


Troopers from the one hundred and first Airborne Division — nicknamed the Screaming Eagles — deployed to the southern border on Saturday to assist President Trump’s crackdown on unlawful immigration into the nation.

Trump, who declared a nationwide emergency on the border after taking workplace on Monday, ordered the army to assist safe the border. He’s reportedly contemplating sending as much as 10,000 troops to the border.

Army law enforcement officials with the 716th Army Police Battalion left Saturday from Fort Campbell in Kentucky “in assist of U.S. Northern Command’s mission to guard the territorial integrity of the US,” based on a press launch obtained by WKRN.

The one hundred and first Airborne Division is among the most recognizable items within the US army — made well-known by the e book and HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers,” which featured paratroopers from the unit throughout the Second World Struggle.
