Coronary heart-pounding video captured a snowboarder frantically racing for his life as he barely outruns a large avalanche on a New Hampshire mountain this week.

The footage, posted on-line by the Mount Washington Observatory, reveals the unidentified thrill-seeker getting greater than he bargained for — zooming down Tuckerman Ravine because the snow closes in.

Officers on the observatory stated the incident was captured on a webcam stationed on the summit of close by Wildcat Mountain and reveals the snowboarder on the left aspect of the video within the distance.

“After the digital camera zooms in, the snowboarder could be seen outrunning the avalanche,” the observatory stated. “Fortunately, nobody concerned was injured.”
