Lady visiting sister in NYC vanishes after escaping from ambulance whereas carrying scrubs: sources

A Florida lady who got here to the Massive Apple to go to her sister vanished in broad daylight Monday after she escaped from the again of an ambulance – whereas carrying scrubs, police sources mentioned.

Josyln Garrido, 40, of Kissimmee was being transported from Weill Cornell Medical Middle on the Higher East Facet to White Plains Hospital when she jumped out of the personal ambulance, which was stopped in site visitors, the sources mentioned. 

Garrido, who was carrying a blue scrub high and grey sweatpants, ran off round 12:30 p.m. and hasn’t been seen since, cops mentioned.

Garrido was visiting her sister within the metropolis, and her motive for in search of medical care is unclear, the sources mentioned. 

She is described as a Hispanic feminine with a light-weight complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, standing round 5-foot-6, and weighing 150 kilos.

The NYPD launched a photograph of her Monday night time.
