5 individuals had been killed when two helicopters collided and crashed in a wooded space close to Eura airport in south-western Finland, police have mentioned.

Police mentioned the mid-air collision occurred shortly after midday on Saturday close to the city of Kauttua, with the wreckage falling 700 metres from the Ohikulkutie street.

“5 individuals have died in a helicopter accident close to Eura airport on Saturday,” DCI Johannes Siirilä, of the Nationwide Bureau of Investigation, mentioned.
