A would-be robber bashed a 24-year-old man within the head with a glass bottle when he refused to fork over money in a broad-daylight Brooklyn assault this week, cops mentioned. 

The stranger approached the sufferer down the block from his residence on Ditmas Avenue close to East 2nd Road in Kensington round 9 a.m. Monday and requested him for cash, authorities and sources mentioned. 

When the sufferer didn’t cough up any dough, the suspect turned violent — clobbering him within the head with the bottle, cops mentioned.

The blow left the sufferer with a lower on his head, and he was taken to Maimonides Medical Middle, the place he was listed in steady situation.

The mugger, seen pacing round on the sidewalk in surveillance footage, fled empty-handed and had not been caught by Tuesday.
