Native residents react as they watch the advance of a wildfire in Orjais. An enormous wildfire has raged for every week in a Unesco-designated pure park in central Portugal. Greater than 1,200 firefighters have been drafted in to deal with the blaze, which has already consumed about 15,000 hectares after the flames had been whipped alongside by robust winds.
