A church in Texas has apologised to Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and agreed to pay authorized damages after staging an unauthorised manufacturing of the hit Broadway musical whose songs and dialogue had been modified to incorporate Christian themes.
Produced by nondenominational church The Door McAllen, the manufacturing was adopted by a sermon stating that God may assist individuals fighting homosexuality.
