Tennessee couple arrested, charged after allegedly stealing from a church


A pair has been arrested for allegedly stealing from inside a Tennessee church on their first date.

Sabastian Spencer, 20, and Danielle Salvator, 19, are charged with housebreaking and theft underneath $1,000, police say. The church housebreaking occurred final Thursday. 

Investigators decided the duo positioned an open door and entered the church earlier than stealing a number of gadgets. The incident was reportedly caught on digital camera, and the 2 younger adults apparently confessed that they only wished to play the piano contained in the synagogue. 

Authorities instructed a neighborhood TV station that the couple met on a courting app. They added that the couple performed the piano for about half-hour previous to stealing 4 bibles, two drum sticks and a group plate, WKRN reviews.  

The theft was observed and reported by the church pastor the next day. 

Indian Lake Peninsula Church Administrative Pastor Drew Altom spoke to the media outlet about reaching out to the younger couple. 

“I might inform them don’t let this one incident outline you. Be taught one thing. And collectively, let’s proceed to develop. All of us make errors, however we’re all held accountable for these errors as nicely,” he mentioned.
