Socialist Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulled the hearth alarm in a Home workplace constructing Saturday as Democrats tried to delay a vote on a Republican stopgap spending invoice.
The wild incident within the Cannon Constructing was caught on digicam and confirmed by a number of witnesses, in line with Politico.
“That is the USA Congress, not a New York Metropolis highschool. To tug the hearth alarm to disrupt proceedings once we try to draft laws to AVERT A SHUTDOWN is pathetic…even for members of the socialist squad,” Staten Island GOP Rep. Nicole Malliotakis wrote on X, previously Twitter.
