Sama consoles her injured husband Sameh, who was on a road in Gaza metropolis when he noticed his home explode in an airstrike. He says: ‘I ran to the home; there was smoke and chaos in every single place. I went to rescue my six youngsters who have been inside. Then there was one other strike and I used to be hit. I couldn’t stroll, I couldn’t transfer.’ He was hit in a leg which was badly smashed, and was handled in al-Shifa hospital. He was introduced south for therapy on the British NGO UK-Med’s area hospital in al-Mawasi, a coastal space designated a “humanitarian zone” by the IDF.
