Seven arrests after paint and smoke bombs present in van close to G7

Seven individuals have been arrested after the gadgets have been present in a visitors cease about 5pm on Thursday, police stated.

A 30-year-old man from London, a 21-year-old lady from Wales and a 20-year-old man from Bournemouth have been arrested on suspicion of possession of an article with intent to commit legal injury.

Two males from London aged 25 and 27, a 45-year-old lady from London and a 26-year-old lady from Epsom have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit public nuisance.

A power spokesman stated all seven stay in police custody.

He added: “The gadgets and the autos have been seized by police as a part of ongoing inquiries in relation to this matter.

“We proceed to help the facilitation of secure and authorized protest however legal exercise and public dysfunction is not going to be tolerated.”
