he discovery of a crewless boat in North Wales has sparked a search operation.
A 20ft cruiser was reported adrift at 6am on Saturday in Colwyn Bay.
A lifeboat attended the scene at 7.20 am. Crews searched the water for casualties, however none had been discovered.
HM Coastguard mentioned it was “moderately” assured that 4 males who had been aboard the boat received off safely.
Detective Sergeant Mark Bamber mentioned: “We consider that the boat got here into the realm yesterday and entered the water in Conwy. The boat is known as Phoenix Hardy.
“We’re interesting for the house owners or the individuals who have any data of the boat to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference quantity A039123.”
