Residents in Whatcom County, Washington have been ordered to evacuate after a practice carrying a load of crude oil derailed and caught fireplace, with native authorities clearing anybody inside a half-mile of the crash website.
The derailment late on Tuesday morning concerned three to 5 vehicles, the BNSF railway stated in an announcement on Twitter, including that there have been reviews of a fireplace close to the tip of the car and that emergency response crews have been working to “assess and mitigate the scenario.”

A thick plume of black smoke was seen billowing from the crash website in footage printed by an area reporter.
Pictures captured closer-up confirmed flames across the tanker, although the extent of the blaze just isn’t clear from the picture.
