Police rush to ‘incident’ close to Liverpool Avenue Station

itnesses say they noticed paramedics rush to assist the injured after an “incident” on Bishopsgate, close to Liverpool Avenue Station on Thursday morning.

Police have cordoned off the busy highway after the incident about 10am.

A witness to the aftermath instructed the Commonplace there was a “honest” quantity of blood left on the road as paramedics labored on a sufferer.

She mentioned: “I noticed it from a bus. There was a good quantity of blood seen however the casualties had been hidden behind a white display screen.

“There have been plenty of paramedics over somebody on the ground.”

A Metropolis of London Police spokesperson mentioned: “We’re conscious of an incident this morning on #Bishopsgate. Our officers are on the scene and @Ldn_Ambulance are in attendance. A cordon is presently in place.”
