Ms Davies, 24, had final seen strolling north alongside London Street in Croydon on July 7 and anxious had been rising for her security.
The Met mentioned Ms Davies had been discovered “because of a name to police from somebody who had seen media appeals”.
They mentioned the decision was the 118th reported sighting officers had obtained and was made at 10.30 on Tuesday.
