Round two thousand drivers employed by Arriva might stage the walk-out from October 4 if they aren’t provided a pay improve consistent with the RPI inflation charge of 12.3%, the union Unite warned on Wednesday.
It stated drivers within the firm’s north London division would walk-out indefinitely except the dispute is resolved.
The deliberate strike impacts Arriva drivers working from eight depots in north and east London: Ash Grove, Barking, Clapton, Edmonton, Enfield, Palmers Inexperienced, Tottenham and Wooden Inexperienced.
