A number of members of New York’s Republican congressional delegation on Wednesday signed onto a scathing letter despatched to the heads of the Federal Aviation Administration and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey condemning the resolution to accommodate migrants at John F. Kennedy Worldwide Airport.
The letter, authored by Rep. Anthony D’Esposito and co-signed by Reps. Elise Stefanik, Nick Langworthy, Marc Molinaro, Claudia Tenney, Nick LaLota, Andrew Garbarino, Brandon Williams and Mike Lawler, denounces the transfer to open an emergency shelter for arriving migrants in an outdated postal warehouse at JFK.
“The current resolution by the FAA and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to accommodate unlawful migrants at JFK Airport poses each a safety menace to one among America’s largest transportation hubs and represents the palpable failure of the Biden Administration’s disastrous border insurance policies,” D’Esposito informed The Put up in a press release on Wednesday.
