Rapper Melvin Adams Jr., higher identified by his alter-ego Fish Scales, was leaving the Nappy Roots-owned Atlantucky Brewery at 11 p.m. when two males approached and robbed him at gunpoint.
The assailants pressured Scales to drive to his Hapeville residence. As soon as in Hapeville, Scales tried to flee and was shot within the leg by one of many kidnappers.
The abductors then fled, and Scales went to a neighbor’s home for assist. Police arrived and Scales was taken to the hospital.
